When planning what to do next, or seeking the solutions to your difficult problem are you looking for the one big answer or multiple small ideas to test? Often we tell ourselves we are testing options but in reality we are backing a ‘winner’ dressed up as a trial. It’s a Trojan Horse.

But when you are working together on complex problems it is likely that there is no such thing as a winning idea or one big solution. You will make progress faster if you learn to test small, quick ideas – think mice instead of horses.
