Diamond of Participatory Decision-Making

This extract from the great book Facilitator’s Guide to Participatory Decision-Making (Jossey-Bass) by Sam Kaner illustrates nicely both the typical behaviours of group decision-making and a more constructive framework. While we always like to make a decision, Kaner shows us that we first need to traverse the ‘Groan Zone’.
